Kelly G. "The Pink Palace"

Based on my experience with hotels, the best ones are so relaxing that they seem to take you away from reality. A lot of that has to do with location, any exotic place provides a vacationer with a combination of excitement and allure. Other things factor in to the "greatness" of the hotel like a friendly staff, amenities and the general atmosphere of the hotel. Everyone wants to be spoiled at their hotel, so the more money your willing to shell out, the better service you'll receive. One of my favorite hotels is the Don Cesar on the beautiful beaches of St. Pete. Dubbed "the pink palace," this resort has accommodated hundreds of celebrities, even President Bill Clinton. Amenities include a day spa, fine dining restaurants, two pools, a jacuzzi, cabanas and so much more.

Professional writing is necessary to keep a hotel running. One of the biggest ways it is used is through advertising and marketing. Brochures, websites and ads must be written in a way that attracts guests and showcases what the hotel has to offer. It's also used for records and billing. There must be some sort of system employed to keep reservations and bill guests.

Hotels typically have a large staff, professional writing is crucial for communication between employees. Furthermore it's effective for paying the staff and keeping their records.

  2. I never thought of professional writing in advertising or billing, good point. You are also right about better service costs more money. So save up your money.
