Nick Schroeder: Regular Hotel vs Resort Hotel

Hotel vs Resort

Obviously, everyone has different tastes when it comes to the type of place he/she would like to stay at while away on a business trip, or just on vacation. But typically, it can be said that most people would prefer to stay at a fancy resort hotel rather than at just a regular one. The scenery at a resort tends to be much nicer (since you're usually near a beach, instead of in the cramped city), and also the general atmosphere tends to be much more relaxing. Of course, those fancy hotels are likely to cost you quite a bit more money than the regular ones.

But this is where research comes in. If you spend enough time on the computer looking up various hotels, and comparing them to one another, you'd be surprised at the kind of deals you can find. This is especially true when you're planning your vacation in slower seasons (when resort hotels often offer discounts). And not only that, but when you do research on various hotels, you can also acquire information about each one. This information often comes in the form of reviews from the people that have stayed there. These reviews can be very important, since they can tell you a lot about the hotel you're considering.

So the next time you're planning a trip and you need to look into a hotel to stay at during your visit, keep in mind that researching various hotels ahead of time could directly affect whether you have an enjoyable experience or a miserable one at the place you are staying.

  1. I just realized that reading what my characters are saying in the toondoo can be a bit tricky since the image is a bit small, but if you click on the "View this Toon at Toondoo" option, you can see a larger versin of it.

  4. I liked your toondoo Nick and your post was very detailed. I would say cut out some details because at times it’s hard to follow. But great post overall.
